Locate the parcel in the WebGIS
Search the cantonal WebGIS using the parcel number, select the result and click the highlighted plot. Compare its location with the address and records you hold. Specify whether the enquiry concerns the whole plot, several parcels or an individual apartment. This boundary of the assessment must be documented; an aerial photograph cannot establish it on its own.
Understand the limits of the owner search
The canton states that searching for individual condominium owners is not available. It directs legally valid ownership enquiries to the responsible land registry. The parcel view is therefore not a complete record of your apartment. For a valuation discussion, documents identifying the actual unit are more useful than a general owner lookup: its floor plan, area definitions and records of assigned spaces.
Separate map updates from development proposals
The canton’s «Aktuelles» page records WebGIS changes, including land-use planning updates. Keep the topic and available update information with any saved extract. For a proposed alteration, list existing documentation separately from unresolved enquiries. A visible zone or revised map does not confirm permission for an individual extension. Clarify material questions before allowing a hoped-for project to determine your price expectations.
Document ancillary spaces and shared works
List the cellar, parking and other spaces with their supporting records. For condominium property, available documents about shared components, approved works and maintenance are useful. Separate completed renovations from planned expenditure. Suisse Homes receives enquiries through its central contact in Steinhausen. The first discussion establishes the service, costs and arrangements for a possible visit in light of your intended sale or purchase decision.

Frequently asked questions
Can the parcel map show everything included in my apartment?
No. Add documents for the individual unit and its associated spaces and rights. The map initially identifies the land.
What if the parking documents disagree?
Flag the discrepancy and provide the available records. A parking space visible in an aerial photograph does not establish its legal allocation.
Should I include a hoped-for extension in the current property description?
Describe it as a separate proposal. Existing permissions or written replies help distinguish documented facts from assumptions that still need checking.
